Artrist's Bio:

Lola Bel Aire has been performing her entire life. She has been trained in classical ballet, tap dance, opera, and ballroom dancing as a teacher as well as a professional competitor. Her affinity for all things glamorous and retro naturally lead her into performing burlesque.

After watching the burlesque competition at the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender 2005, Miss Bel Aire was hooked. In the fall of 2005 she made her burlesque debut performing every weekend with Lili’s Burlesque Revue in Minneapolis. Her performances as a soloist and troupe member of Lili’s Burlesque Revue have been many and varied from shaking it at the Pizza Luce Block Party to teasing the audience and the Hennepin History Museum’s Hips Pips and Strips exhibition. She has performed in Las Vegas, Nevada for the Miss Exotic World benefit and has most recently performed in Hollywood with Bobbie Burlesque. Miss Bel Aire also has regular performances with local boogie-woogie pianist, Cadillac Kolstad and of course with the Twin Cities' premier burlesque troop, Lili's Revue.

Aside from performing burlesque, Miss Bel Aire enjoys choreographing routines for Lili’s Burlesque Revue and teaches ballroom dancing in St. Paul. Lola Bel Aire is also an accomplished pinup model having won the title of Pinup Vixen’s Miss February 2007, The Diva Pinup's Miss April 2007, and taking an impressive 3rd place the famous JBP Cheesecake Contest. Most recently, Miss Bel Aire was featured in Java's Bachelor Pad Magazine's 2nd issue *on newstands and available online now!*.

Miss Bel Aire is also dedicated to bringing the glamour of pinup to the general public and is co-owner of Sugar Bomb Studios with Nate Levine. She is also a staff writer and contributor to Pinups 'n Pasties and bi-monthly ezine for all things in midwestern retro entertainment.
